#Winning In the New Year Thanks to Daily Harvest

I cannot believe the first week of January is coming to an end. I feel like this year has already started off with a bang and I am so excited and happy. I have shared that I am really focusing a lot on self care and one of the ways to practice self care is with the foods you eat. I will admit that sometimes I forget to eat or just grab a snack bar instead of sitting down and eating a meal. I’ve realized this isn’t a habit that should be continued so I brainstormed ways around that.

Daily Harvest has been a big key to getting in a meal in that is fast and nutritious. It all comes in a pre-portioned, superfood-packed cup that I just throw in the blender with a cup of coconut milk. Their smoothies are ready in 30 seconds and nutritionist-approved. I love the fact that I can go directly on the Daily Harvest website, pick which smoothies I want and then they are shipped directly to my door. Anything that keeps me from making a trip to the grocery store really makes me happy and life so much easier. Have you ever taken four kids to the grocery store? Then I am sure you feel my pain, ha!

Right now, my food routine consists of waking up and chugging my celery juice then making a Daily Harvest smoothie in the blender for breakfast. I do add a scoop of Vital Proteins collagen in it before I start blending. I use coconut milk because I love the taste and it’s really good for milk production. You can use any milk or liquid you want, that’s just my choice when I make a smoothie.
