Why I love cream eyeshadows!

One major swap I made when deciding to use safer products was with my makeup.

Even though I’m a HUGE fan of Beautycounter’s makeup, when they launched their cream eye shadows a couple months ago, I wasn’t excited. Why?

I thought they were going to be like the old school creams I’ve tried before that slip all over your face and make you look like an oil slick. But MAN WAS I WRONG.

After ordering a few to try, I realized that these eye shadows are amazing! They go on in a cream but dry and then don’t move. No smudging or oiliness all over my skin! And some of the colors multitask as cheek and lip stains.

I call them paint by numbers because you apply directly to area you want color with the applicator and blend with a brush. It’s that simple. Apply as little as you want for a sheer look, build for a more bold pop of color, or mix and match to create a smokey eye.
