The POPS of Color I Love Rockin’ Right Now!

Happy Monday friends! I hope you’re having a wonderful day. I have honestly gotten a little bit off schedule due to being up all night thanks to our golden doodle pup, Elvis. BUT, I was able to take a cat nap and now I feel better. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share your pup training tips and tricks. You’re a lifesaver!

Now that the weather has warmed up, I am all about adding pops of color to my wardrobe and makeup. All of fall and winter, you can call me a neutral girl but as soon as Spring hits, I bust out the brights. My favorite bright color is pink because I think it works perfectly with my skin tone and hair color. I don’t know why but it just does! As soon as I saw this body con maternity dress by Ingrid and Isabel I had that convo with myself that I had to have it. I couldn’t pass it up because body con dresses while I’m pregnant are my fav and the color pink is so gorg. It makes a statement on its own or paired with other bright colors like a yellow blazer I wore a few weeks ago in Minnesota at Leadership Summit.

Regardless of what color I wear, when the weather is nice, it means it’s time to break out a bright lip color too! My favorites are from Beautycounter. I switched out my lipsticks a few years ago when I researched and found the toxic ingredients that filled them. You can read about that here. Recently, Beautycounter released a new line of lip colors called the Color Intense lipsticks. Two of my go-to colors (and statement pinks) are Garden Party and First Date (I am wearing in these photos).
