Skechers for Kids

The weather finally warmed up enough for us to spend some time outside. Us Southerners don’t like anything lower than 60s, and I hate to say it’s been all the way down in the 30s lately. I was dying to stretch my legs, and every day Nolan asks to take a walk and walk Darlin’ (my 9-year-old Maltese that’s gained a few extra LBs), so the warmer weather was our sign to head outdoors! We went to the park where they could run around and I could get some exercise in, and the kids finally got the chance to try out their new Skechers sneakers.

I have worked with Skechers before, and I love their brand! You can see how I’ve styled other shoes from them – here, here and here and Derrek loves their boots – you can how he styled see those here. Nolan picked out a pair of black sneakers that match his Daddy’s (of course) and Harper opted for Sparkly and pink. They always run for their sneakers anytime we head outside, and these are super comfortable as well as really cute! Harper is into talking about her colors and she always says “Pink!!! Bueee!” and puts them on herself. I love how soft Nolan’s are; he loves that they make him really fast! We took a few laps around the track and then headed to the playground so they could play. I am so thankful that the weather is warming up here so we can spend more time outside. It’s such a release from being cooped up inside, don’t you agree? If the weather warms up in your area or you want to bundle up and go in the cold, even 10-15 minutes can refresh your soul!
