Happy Thanksgiving week y’all! I am counting down the days until I can stuff my face full of all the wonderful holiday food and thanking God for outfits like these that hide the little food pooch bound to follow after our meal! The weather here is dreadfully cold in the mornings and warms up to the high 60s sometimes low 70s by the afternoon. This leaves us with the “what on Earth am I supposed to wear today?” Question. I love layers during this time and it always helps hide any extra “fluff” you are toting around after a big meal. This plaid vest from Hazel and Mae Boutique is a must for this season for those reasons AND because it’s just so dang gorgeous. Two trends that I love during this time are plaid and the merlot color and this vest has both of them, #winning! I can’t really wear big blanket scarfs this year because when we go out I always baby wear Scarlet Reese and this vest keeps me nice and cozy while keeping her close. I recently stocked up on super soft basic long sleeves in my favorite neutrals (black, white, off white, merlot and grey) and I can wear any of those with this vest. Pair it with a good pair of jeans and boots and you look like you’ve been dressed by a stylist. Another good investment is a great fall lip color and I am obsessing over this RAISIN lip sheer from Beautycounter.
