It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Amanda’s tunic – fur vest – leggings – booties – bangles – watch – puffer vest (similar) – snow boots
I am so excited about this post today! I purchased these plaid leggings a while back for the winter session and after thinking about it a little bit, I’ve figured out how to style them two completely different ways! I’ve been putting them to the side because I was nervous about the print but I have found you can change the entire feel of the plaid with the changing of a vest and boots! I really like how you can dress them up for Christmas party or wear them casually for any outdoor winter occasions!
I feel like the first look is the perfect outfit for a Christmas party, dinner date or night out with your girls during the holidays! The black tunic and black booties make the plaid stand out and I added the fur vest for an extra layer for when I’m outside! I told ya’ll I had this tunic from Shop Lila Rose in multiple colors and the black is one of my favorites. It works so perfectly with this Christmas plaid and keeps you from being so over the top!
For the second look, I changed the fur vest to a red puffer vest and my booties to these gorgeous black snow boots by Skechers. The boots are so warm and comfortable, perfect for hanging out by the fire on a cold winter night. I have also been wearing them on days that it’s wet and rainy and they are becoming my favorite boots to throw on! I love being outdoors so I always put on a puffer and some warm boots but by adding the black tunic and plaid leggings, I still look put together and ready for some holiday fun! I hope you give these looks a chance and see for yourself how adorable they are! I really love the addition of all these pieces to my wardrobe because I can wear them countless ways throughout the season and create many different looks. As ya’ll know, I LOVE finding neutral pieces that I can mix and match. These would all look great on any lady during the winter months, so get to shopping and get yourself or the wonderful ladies in your life some beautiful winter wardrobe essentials!
P.S. How cute is this handmade wooden sign by my friend Lindsay?
I sent her a picture of the Griswold’s station wagon with their Christmas tree and she brought my idea to life!
She just started her own etsy shop so you can buy your own sign HERE!
