How to re-grow things from food scraps

When I first wanted to make safer and healthier changes for my family, I was on a very tight budget. It wasn’t easy to shop all organic everything but I found ways to do my best.

One of the ways that I was able to get organic foods on a budget was growing my own food. I talk about this a lot on my blog and I hope you take the time to look deeper into gardening because it really can help you get the foods you want without the sticker price.

Did you know that you can actually regrow food from your scraps? It is one of the best ways to eat more organic foods when you’re on a budget and a quick way to start a garden without buying anything extra than what you already have!

A lot of our produce is re-growable and can be re-planted in your garden to produce for you again. I try to compost everything we don’t use but certain things I set aside and regrow to use again. Doing this allows you to maximize your produce life way past just one meal.
