Let’s talk healthy skin. This is definitely asked quite often and I am so excited to address it today. I know how desperate I am for knowledge if I am breaking out and feel like I can’t control it, so if this makes a difference for even just one person, my job is done. I am inspired to do this post because this morning, I woke up with the most glowing and happy skin I’ve ever had after using Beautycounter’s Cleansing Balm as an overnight mask. This has been a game changer for my skin and is one of my must try’s when it comes to healthy skin. In addition to that, here is what I suggest focusing on for healthy skin.
Getting enough of it is vital so your organs function properly and if you have the capacity to cope with stress. Have you ever noticed how you’re a whole different, kinder, more radiant person when you get enough sleep? YEAP, make sure this is a priority! Also remember that “you can’t pour from an empty cup.” So making sure you get sleep is HUGE!
Making sure that I eat healthy fats, proteins and fiber and not a lot of processed foods and sugar of any kind. This is hard and is somewhat of a detox but it will be a game changer in your skin. Also eliminating egg yolks and dairy have been big factors in helping my skin clear up! I also swear by the Marine Collagen by Vital Proteins. I have seen a big difference in my skin by adding this into my daily routine. Lastly, stay HYDRATED! This will make your skin look completely different especially if you’re someone who NEVER drinks water.
I am adjusted twice a week by my husband but I have truly enjoyed my visits with a local holistic doctor. I always leave her office with herbs and a head change. It makes a just difference in my overall well being and my skin. She also suggested I take a probiotic which really helps me with my gut health and my breakouts along my chin and jawline.
Find time to sit and de stress, don’t just become a big bundle of nerves by overthinking your issues. I take 15 minutes every morning to myself WITHOUT MY PHONE to pray and set intentions for my day. I have found that not doing this makes me more stressed AS SOON AS the kids wake up and that’s just not fair to me or them.
First and foremost, STOP touching your face. Every time you touch your face with your fingers you are spreading germs and bacteria. I also try and clean my phone off with a wipe or Norwex cloth before I use it for a phone call. I wash my face twice a day with a body cloth from Norwex and a charcoal bar by Beautycounter. These two are my go-t0 for fighting acne. The Norwex cloths are microfiber clothes that are embedded with silver, silver smothers and kills 99.9% of all germs and bacteria. The charcoal bar detoxifies your skin and gets all of those acne causing bacteria out of your pores!
true life, how do you get them all to smile at the same time? hahaha
