As a small business owner myself, I know how important it is for small local business owners to support each other in these entrepreneurial endeavors. Myrtle Beach friend and photographer, Allison, and her artistic hubby, Jason, started a children’s line of shirts inspired by life with their son, Fin. When Allison previewed the designs on her Facebook, I was absolutely blown away. The time and attention to detail that goes in to each design is breathtaking. The designs are dreamed up and created by the duo and then drawn by Jason.
As soon as the Fin First website went live, I snagged two short sleeve shirts for Nolan: East Coast Native and Hippies Use the Front Door. When they arrived, he had fun playing with the packaging and has worn his shirts countless times since! The many adventures he has in his shirts leave many messes, but I have been able to launder them and keep them super soft and looking brand new. The long-lasting softness and quality of the shirts impressed me so much that I had to order more!
Harper’s first Fin First shirt is a raglan Sunny the Mermaid tee, and Nolan added a Willie the Buffalo raglan. The kids wear their shirts styled many different ways: under hoodies, flannels, with PJs, pants, or just diapers and underwear. I plan to continue to add to their Fin First collection as they grow and the seasons change. Go check out their online shop and see what designs speak to you!
