One of the most often asked questions I receive is “can you please share about your family bed?” It always makes me smile because I know it sounds intriguing and it still is to me. After Nolan was born, Derrek, myself and him slept in a King size bed together. This was no problem because we had lots of space and I never feared him rolling over until he was a little over one year old. He definitely fell off the bed a few times before we decided to push the bed against the wall. I honestly hated the way it looked but it wasn’t until after Harper was born and around one and a half did we make the transition to a bigger “family bed.” You can read all about that, here.
Now that we are a family of three, our family bed is more important than ever and we love it that way. More times a day than I can count, we pile into our bed and hang out. From reading books to playing airplane or having tickle fights, our bed is always the area we end up lounging in. Not only that but, naps, can I get an amen from all the moms out there? All of our kids nap in our bed (when they do decide to take those glorious naps) and we don’t have to worry about the falling off!
It was time to update our sheets, we had the previous pair for a few years and the white “newness” was wearing off. I found this great company called Linens and Hutch and fell in love with the high quality. Buying a good quality sheet set is very important, in my eyes. No one wants to go get in bed and feel scratchy sheets! I am very particular about my bedding and blankets and this company makes the cut! They have such a large variety of sheets that you can find the perfect ones for our bed and all the other bedrooms in your home.
