Hey ya’ll! I hope that your week is moving along swimmingly, the kids and I have been working to get our house unpacked and make this more of a home. With that being said, I have actually restocked and replenished a lot of our household products. If you are a fan of my instastories then you already know about my favorite way to do so. If not, this will be a great resource for you. I am a HUGE fan of being able to order via the internet and save myself trips to a store with all the kids. I mean, #momlife! There’s nothing worse than lugging all of mine in and out of stores, not only that but trying to find non toxic household products in stores is a complete pain in the butt. I came across this great company called Grove Collaborative a year or so ago and it has been a great resource for me.
Grove Collaborative is an online service designed to make using healthy, natural products easier. They do this by offering a variety of non-toxic household items, including cleaning products, personal care items, beauty products, vitamins & supplements, and more. Think of this as the Amazon of non toxic household products with perks for sharing with your friends. I also love that Grove is a B Corp. B Corp is to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee or USDA Organic certification is to milk. B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. You can read more about what a B Corp is by clicking here.
Grove is also best described as an auto-replenishment service. These scheduled shipments are completely customizable. Most Grove customers use the scheduling as a reminder to make sure they never run out household essentials BUT it is noted that you do not have to do this. They send out reminder emails 7 days and 1 day before a shipment is scheduled to go out so you can verify that the order is correct. These features are what makes Grove different – your subscription is flexible and can be edited at any time. You decide what you want, and when you want it. Grove recently released a new feature that allows their customers to shop without automatic shipments and still to order on an as needed basis. If you would like to enable this on your account, you can go here and click “Pause Auto-Shipments.” There is no fee to join the Grove Collaborative Community! You only pay for the products you buy, and shipping is a flat rate of $2.99 no matter how big your order is.
If you want to have your items shipped at no cost, get free product offers throughout the year, and have the ability to price match from other retailers, check out their VIP membership for only $19.99 per year after you sign up for a 60-day free trial! The VIP program is what I am currently enrolled in. VIPs never pay the cost of shipping, regardless of order size – which makes it easier to keep your home filled with the products that create a healthy, beautiful space for your family. Grove VIPs receive:
- Free shipping! (compared to $2.99 flat rate for regular customers)
- Free full size gifts 4 times per year (about every 75 days) — well over $35 in value each year.
- Access to price matching! If you find the same item for less at another retailer, send a link or a photo to email@example.com and they will adjust the price for your next order.
The cost to join VIP is only $19.99/year, which will be charged automatically after your trial ends. After your membership renews, you get to take advantage of all the benefits for a year before deciding if you’d like to renew again!
If you refer Grove to your friends and use the personalized link that is in your account information, you and the friend you refer will receive a $10 product credit. You can use those credits as they come OR let them build up to pay for your entire order. I do the latter and end up not paying for what I order every month. I’m actually really excited to share my favorite products with you. Even though Grove is a B Corp, they still have a few products that I do not use because of the ingredients, so I suggest looking at them if you ever have a question. I stay away from anything that contains “FRAGRANCE.” I support this company because it’s about progress, not perfection and they have made a conscience effort to do better than any other company like this.
