    Falling into Fall

This post is in partner with Freshly Picked. We were gifted these products in exchange for my honest review. Please visit my disclaimer page for more information. The temperate hasn’t changed in SC but fall has brought a ton of activities. I find that there is SO much to do at any given time and we are rarely home outside of our homeschool schedule. I love fall for many reasons… it does take a little longer for it to get cooler in the South but camping, visiting the pumpkin patches, decorating our home, going to fall festivals and the fair, drinking hot chocolate by a bonfire and having a s’mores.…

Weekend Style thanks to JJ Cole and Freshly Picked

My top | skirt | bag | necklace Harper and Scarlet Reese’s shoes | SR bow | bandana bib  Spring is here and we are loving it! We spend, at the least, a few hours outside everyday and it feels amazing. One thing that Derrek and I realized over the weekend is how we stayed busy and the kids were not bickering as much. So, I guess that’s the key for keeping the peace, ha! On Saturday, we ended up going to look at houses because we plan on moving at some point this year. This Mama’s Valentine’s Day Outfit

cardigan | top | jeans | booties (similar) | necklace | lip It’s hard to believe that Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. We have already lined up a babysitter and have plans to go out for dinner and see Fifty Shades Darker. This year we aren’t playing around with getting in our date night! He was so nervous and kept saying all of these weird deep things like how we had known each other for…

Hazel and Mae Rusty Orange Sweater

Cooler temps are here and I am loving it! In the South, it takes a little longer for our seasons to change. I am a warm weather type of girl but now that Thanksgiving has passed, I have decorated for Christmas and pulled out my cozy sweaters. This rusty orange off the shoulder sweater from Hazel and Mae Boutique has been calling my name since I first saw it. When I finally tried it on, I proclaimed that it is by far my favorite sweater! I wore this on Thanksgiving and received so many compliments, it just validated my opinion on how gorg it is. I’ve had these cowboy boots…

    Mad for Plaid!

vest* | top | jeans | boots | lip color | bangle** |necklace Happy Thanksgiving week y’all! I am counting down the days until I can stuff my face full of all the wonderful holiday food and thanking God for outfits like these that hide the little food pooch bound to follow after our meal! The weather here is dreadfully cold in the mornings and warms up to the high 60s sometimes low 70s by the afternoon. This leaves us with the “what on Earth am I supposed to wear today?” Question. I love layers during this time and it always helps hide any extra “fluff” you are toting around…
