Now that Nolan does a school lesson every morning, I make sure that he has his own space, and I get Harper set up in another room so they are out of each other’s hair for a little while. Harper normally gets a snack and picks out a book to read in her My Pello floor pillow for kids and is content during the time Nolan is working on his lesson.
I really love their playroom; I tried to keep in mind what actually happens in there – lots and lots of messes. So it’s somewhat of a Montessori style room – very minimal so they actually play with the toys they have versus just trashing the space. The My Pello floor pillow doesn’t stay in the playroom all the time. The kids normally pull it out to lounge in if they watch cartoons or feel like laying in it to play with their toys. They even convince the dogs to snuggle with them, and every time, my heart just explodes from the cuteness.
I plan on letting our third baby lounge in it and definitely use it for tummy time when he or see is old enough. This is a great product for growing babies because they feel cuddled in the soft center, and if they do happen to fall over, the raised cushion around the outer part breaks the fall versus them falling on a hard floor. I really enjoy finding products that have been designed by a mom because who knows kids better than someone who has them themselves! Cindy, the owner, also won my heart because she is Texas-based and American made products really catch my eye! I love supporting other mamas and especially products made in our country. I chose the majestic floor pillow because it was white on one side and grey on the other – a perfect fit for our playroom. I know you must think I’m being brave with the white, but the Pello is washable so if anything ever spills on it, I can clean it easily. When we’re around the house, Harper always asks to wear this jumper from June and January, and I can understand why she loves it so much. Little Miss Independent wants to pick out her own clothes now and this has become a favorite of hers! I found out about June and January a few years ago, and I have loved their products ever since. I’m a simple type of mom when it comes to clothes… I don’t love big frills, chevron or “mama’s little teddy bear” appliques. This brand works perfectly with my style because they make the most amazing styles in bright colors and patterns but somehow makes them all look like neutrals! Harper wears their lounge pants, swing dresses, jumpers, ballet tops, knit leggings and even has a few blankets that I got for her when she was a baby. I really love the quality of June and January’s clothing and so does everyone else. When they have restocks, their products literally sell out within minutes so I always set an alarm beforehand and stock up on as much as I can before it sells out. I am so excited for spring and summer for Harper to wear her swing dresses and jumpers when the weather is nice!
I’ve teamed up with My Pello and June and January to give one of my lucky followers a My Pello and $50 gift certificate to June and January! Head over to my Instagram – @Littlesouthernwife get all the details and enter! Good luck y’all!
