I’m not sure if you’ve seen what has been going on in South Carolina the past week. If you haven’t, some areas have been devastated by up to 22 inches of rain in the span of four days! We have been cooped up inside for what feels like weeks, and finally today, the sun decided to bless us with its presence. We took the opportunity to run some errands, and I broke out my boots for the first time this season! I LIVE in boots this time of year, and in my dream world, I have a shoe closet that has every single type of boot you can imagine. I really am a typical girl when it comes to having a shoe obsession.
I am always down for any time Harper and I can match. We have worn matching shirts, headbands and even pom pom shorts by this cute company called P and the Lion. A few weeks ago I saw this gorgeous red cape on their Instagram, and I immediately asked them about making an olive one for myself. I am gravitating to this color for everything this fall! The owner suggested that Harper get a matching one, and, of course, I had to say yes. These are the cutest capes I have ever seen! They are silky soft and bring the perfect amount of POP to any outfit. I have also worn it styled over all black, and it’s really just stunning. It really catches people’s eye! Harper is an absolute doll in her cape and twirls around and around like it’s a princess dress.
I really like how great this camel bag goes with this outfit. I’ve actually been using it as a diaper bag. I quit using a regular diaper bag after Nolan around six months old. I HATED carrying that thing around. I always keep my essentials in my bag and whatever else in my car because if I really needed something I can make the walk and grab it. Now that the kids are older, I always make sure I carry a change of clothes, undies for Nolan, diapers for Harper and snacks (dried fruit, fig bars, apple sauce, etc) and a ring sling, and they are good to go! The Pink Monogram has the cutest stuff and they ship really fast so you don’t have to wait very long to get your package!

Harper requests to be worn at least once a day now. Today I’ve worn her off and on pretty much all day in different carriers! I am so thankful that she still loves to be worn. She was really ill all day, and the only thing that calmed her sassy self was when I was wearing her. A ring sling is great because you can wear newborns to toddlers by adjusting it differently. This grey one from Shop Joho Baby is my favorite right now because it goes with EVERYTHING! I really suggest them to all moms and especially moms of multiple kids. It’s so much easier than trying to do everything one-handed and you still meet the nearly insatiable need your kids have for their mama!
