Happy New Year!

It’s so hard to believe that another year has passed so quickly. 2016 held a lot of new experiences for our family and we are excited to see what 2017 holds! We went on a few trips, started new endeavors, and welcomed Scarlet Reese into our family. I wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures from our last photoshoot with Kristina J Mosley and also include what our New Years Resolutions are for 2017. We all decided to write them down so we could look at them throughout the year and hold ourselves accountable for what we aspire to achieve. I hope that you start 2017 by taking the time to write out your goals and do everything you can to accomplish them.

Derrek’s Goals:
-spend at least 20 minutes a day for 5 days a week focused on God and spiritual growth and awareness
-exercise 4 days a week with only 2 vacation meal days
-resolve all student loans and pay off any debts, set aside at least $50 a week of paycheck and make more money
-control my emotions (mainly towards my kids) and focus on being patient. Work on teaching verses discipline.
-spend more time with friends, travel more with my family and meet more people.

Amanda’s Goals:
-read my bible every single day, no matter if it’s one verse or an entire chapter. Learn a lesson from what has been read. Pray when I wake up and every night before bed.
-make exercise a top priority and work out every single day. If it’s to cold outside, do a mini workout indoors and/or yoga session. Work on strengthening my core and getting a tight stomach and also a rock hard booty.
-pay off all debts, make sure my student loans are all up to date and work on building credit. Grow my businesses and become more focused on each of their specific needs.
-learn how to deal with my emotions and not let them overwhelm me. Help any person that I come into contact with in any way that I can. Don’t let other people’s actions change my heart.
-make sure to see my family members on a regular basis, spend more time with friends and not at home being a hermit. Make a travel schedule and follow through with trips. Make date nights with Derrek a priority.

Nolan’s Goals:
-to learn how to ride my bike without the training wheels.
-write the entire alphabet.
-give away my toys to kids that don’t have any.
-travel to new places and see cool things.
-spend all day outside and don’t come back in until dinner.

Harper’s Goals:
-to learn how to swim without floaties.
-go to Disney world.
-make more Princess friends.
-grow big and strong!
