Happy Hump Day y’all! I cannot believe we are already halfway through the week but I’ll take it. South Carolina has been blessed with some fabulous weather and I have been soaking it in by spending as much time as possible outdoors. This past weekend I had a meeting and I decided that it was the perfect time to wear this outfit. I’ve gotten so many compliments on this tank from Thisle and Finn, I cannot tell you how excited I am to style it different ways through Spring and Summer. It’s only $30 and I’ve got a discount code 20% off so y’all can get it even cheaper! The code is: littlesouthernwife and it ends Friday. I received these products in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Read my disclaimer page for more information.
I also wanted to devote this blog to something that I’ve already gotten a lot of questions about. I posted that I became a Director with Beautycounter and I am over the moon with excitement. I have worked so hard to accomplish this goal and now that it happened I honestly can’t believe it and I’m ready to crush my next goal. This is huge for me because I’ve been working on growing my team for the past three months.
Once you hit Manager (the ranking goes: consultant, senior consultant, manager, senior manager, director, senior director, executive director and managing director) you sort of plateau when it comes to your paycheck. Managers make on average about $500 a month and if you don’t focus on building your team at this point, you really don’t move up.
I went to my team’s monthly Beautycounter meeting in December and asked Christi and Olga (my mentors) what steps I needed to make to move up from Manager and their answer was simple; find more voices to share the Beautycounter mission. To hit Director isn’t something that you can do alone, you must build a team that contributes to your business volume. You and your team’s volume must exceed $10,000 in sales over the course of one month. I am so happy and thrilled to say that everyone on MY team had sales last month. Everyone is contributing, on fire and making it their mission to get safer products into the hands of others.
I want y’all to know something. I am a mom of three. My children are all under the age of five. My husband works most of the days of the week and I have no consistent childcare. Every now and then I randomly find a babysitter but for the most part, everything falls on my shoulders. I have grown my business by working hard and sharing my non toxic lifestyle with the world. Most days are not easy but I don’t let it get me down. I continue to strive to meet my goals. I not only care about sharing Beautycounter’s mission but I am head set on contributing to our income.
My paycheck from Beautycounter for February is going to be over $2000. Does that blow your mind? Because it surely blows mine. I work for several MLM companies and I have NEVER made a paycheck that large. Honestly, the other companies that I work for, I do it for the discount on the products because I use them in our home and so many people ask me about them, it’s nice to basically get them for free just by sharing them with others. I’ve tried to grow those businesses into more than just paying for my products but their compensation plans don’t compare to Beautycounter.
Every bit of money that I make from Beautycounter is put into my savings to pay off student loans and contribute to a down payment on our future home. Finding out that I reached Director yesterday made me so overwhelmed with happiness and thankfulness that I cried all day. I’ve felt like I was drowning financially in the past and because of Beautycounter, I no longer feel that way.
So, I really want everyone of you that feel the weight of financial burdens, not contributing to their household or not having direction and wanting to be apart of something great to hear this message. Beautycounter can be your saving grace, it can help you grow in ways you didn’t think you could. It can help you form friendships and show you how you can help others. It’s more than selling products, it’s educating people on how to change their life and in the process you become a boss babe. If any of this speaks to you, please email me. I would love to talk to you and help you join this mission with me.
