Hi, I'm Amanda...

  • Last month the kids had their spring break. We decided to do a little vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC and soak up the beach 🏖 I had so many questions about this family travel location that I write a post so you can reference if you are planning a trip. Note: this is a family friendly guide with a discount for an @airbnb booking 🙌🏼 head to my blog for the details on our house for the week, the best restaurants and entertainment for your trip! 🎡
  • Ayyyy girl, I see you trying to do better than you did yesterday. Feeling the overwhelming urgency to use your voice to do something greater. Wanting to share the goodness that can come by having a non toxic life (inside and out) and settling into your newfound voice. I know it can be scary to do things outside of the norm and then get ridiculed for it. It’s going to happen. You could be the ripest, juiciest peach and there’s going to be someone that hates peaches 🍑 it’s life! What I don’t want you to do is let that fear sedate you. Let it make you realize how big your purpose is. Y’all always ask about my wrist tattoos and my favorite is a scripture in Hebrew from the book of Esther. Esther 4:14, it helps overcome that since of fear every single time it tries to over take me. You can hear more about my story and the way you can use your voice to do good by clicking my “Esther 4:14” highlight or going and reading that book in the Bible. You have a voice, and you just have to be brave enough to share it. Big things happen when we choose to be a Light 💡

  • Happy Sunday y’all! I hope you use this day to get your mind right and focused to have a wonderful week ❤️ you have a voice and that voice is called to do big things, even if it’s only speaking positivity and love into YOUR life. Focus on listening to what God calls you to do and share. What can divide us, God has meant that to bond us together. The only way we understand is if we cross lines and talk to one another. Once we kick out the things In our life that we’re never meant to be brought in, this is what our family is meant to be like. You and I have to go first, we have to fear God more than anything else. We look down on no one when we realize that the ground at the cross is level.
  • Just so happened to go to @target on the day of the @vineyardvines launch and scooped up the cutest bikini. I sized up for pregnancy 🤰🏼 also, sharing this to #keepitreal because my psoriasis is flaring up, my legs aren’t toned as they should be after taking a week off at the gym 🤣 and my belly is looking like I ate a big dinner but I swear I am #18weeks pregnant. I’ve learned to love the stages of life I am in. As long as I eat healthy and treat my body right it doesn’t matter if it’s “instagram perfect” it’s perfect enough for me ❤️ #selflove
  • Getting ready for date night like 💋😜 so excited to get a little glam and out the house with Derrek 🙌🏼 what should we do? Dinner, Greek Festival or a movie 🎥 🍿
  • Not gonna lie. This week has R O C K E D me. Two kids teething (one with molars, one with her first tooth), basically single moming it while Derrek taught a class all week and the only help I have with the kids (our nanny) was out of town. 🤪 so I haven’t been so present on social media and it’s just what I needed to break from to focus on the kids and work. I’ve got a team of 350+ ladies who depend on me for mentoring and guidance and it’s not something I can sit on the back burner. I’ve done many a coaching calls on the way to and from car line, went on walks with the baby in the stroller while I had team trainings, slipped out for a team meeting last night and tonight I am heading a call for my leaders. Whooosaaaaahhhhhh for a stressful week and making it. I might not have crushed all the things, worn makeup or even accomplished much of what I wanted but I did it 🙌🏼 giving myself all the grace is how I survived. Finally got a chance to do a #bumpdate for y’all and it’s up on the blog. Can’t believe I am #17weeks and in my second trimester ❤️ sharing all the things about this pregnancy so head over and check it out!
  • I’m a southern girl and chicken and rice has always been a staple in my household. I crave comfort food but not the unhealthy parts of it. Does this mean that I’ve got to go without the foods I love? No! This means that I can step outside of my box and learn 👊🏼 instant pot chicken and rice (aka quinoa) is a weekly staple in our household and I always double it so I can eat it for lunch over the next few days #winning 🙌🏼 I top it with hot sauce and pickled jalapeños because baby is wanting all the spicy things 👏🏼 super easy, healthy and filling.
  • Life couldn’t be more sweet with you Mercy girl 😍 You are the sweetest little butter ball I’ve ever met with an infectious laugh. Watch my stories for a daily dose of baby fever ❤️
