Babies”R”Us Registry Party

When you’re pregnant, it’s a bit overwhelming to make a baby registry, especially with all the ever-changing options out there. I’ve had two babies and now that I’m pregnant with our third, I knew exactly what I wanted for this sweet little soul in my belly. Thanks to Babies”R”Us, new mamas and mamas with multiple kids have a great place to go for more education on selecting baby products for their registry.

Babies”R”Us has put together a country-wide in-store registry party where moms-to-be can go and talk to trained professionals about what products would be most beneficial to add to their registry and also ask any questions they might have. As a new mom, I really love how you can literally ask how to work a Diaper Genie or what breast pads hold the most milk! For experienced mamas like myself, it’s a great way to share your own knowledge, help other soon to be mamas get comfortable with their new role, and learn about new products that might have come on the market since your last baby was born.

I went to the registry party with my kids and was super excited to connect with other mamas who are pregnant at the same time that I am! After we listened to professionals give their opinions of a wide variety of items – they did drawings for several prizes! Who doesn’t love free baby swag?! After the prizes were handed out, everyone went their separate ways with their scanners to select the items for their registry that would pair well with their own lifestyle.

As this is our third baby, we honestly just need the essentials because I have boy and girl clothing and blankets! Some of the items that I registered for are:

4 Moms Mamaroo

rocking chair

Medela Breast Pump

Britax Car Seat

Bubula Diaper Pail

4 Moms Bathtub

Once I finished with my registry, I was approached by a soon-to-be first-time mama about what she should add, so I went through the basics with her: breast pads, blankets, swaddles, breast pump, car seat, swing, bathtub, baby wash, stroller, etc. A few other moms heard my conversation and joined in for advice, and I answered as many questions as I could before Harper and Nolan went stir crazy. I think it’s really fun to show them what they’re in for the next few years!

After 30-45 minutes they made an announcement for us to head back to the party and they drew more names for prizes! Some lucky ladies won pretty fab presents, and at the end, each mom was given a gift bag with a baby onesie, diaper, and a bottle.

Overall, it was really fun to go and interact with other mamas at Babies”R”Us and have a fun little party to celebrate such an important milestone in our lives. I highly suggest if you’re expecting to go to the next one in your area!
